Month after month, we use this space to talk about our cars, give you finance tips, or let you know how to take better care of your car. Today, we’re putting that aside for something equally dear to our hearts. Now through December 6, we’re collecting new toys for Toys For Tots, and we hope you’ll consider donating at Hunt Chrysler Center.

How Can I Help?

It’s simple. Please bring a new toy, book, or other age-appropriate gift for kids aged newborn to 16 in its original packaging to Hunt Chrysler Center. It doesn’t even have to be wrapped (in fact, Toys for Tots prefers that it isn’t). Your gift will go to a local family in need this holiday season.

That’s All There Is To It?

Well, it may not seem like much to you, but think back to how your face lit up when you got a gift you loved. This is your chance to pass that joy on to someone else, which we think is a pretty big deal!

What Can You Tell Me About Toys for Tots?

Toys for Tots was founded in 1948 as the official charity outreach of the United States Marine Corps Reserve, and they’ve distributed more than half a billion toys since then. This is their 75th year brightening kids’ holidays with toys and other gifts that might otherwise be out of reach for a parent or guardian who’s fallen on tough times. You may never meet those you’re helping, but we know from experience that they’re often closer to home than we realize.

Thanks For Helping Hunt Chrysler Center Make a Difference

The late Joe Strummer said, “Without people, you’re nothing.” While we’re proud of the cars we sell and service, what gets us out of bed every morning is the opportunity to serve the communities who’ve sustained us through good times and bad. We’re honored to do it and glad so many of you have been by our side.

If you have any questions about donating, get in touch. In the meantime, we thank you for all you do to help us help others, and we wish you a safe, joyous holiday season!
